Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character on ABC's Lost series as well as Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Her parents had divorced and they moved together with their mother in Los Angeles. As she struggled financially, she was able to land her first part as the title character in the video on-demand show Rachel's Room in the year 2001. She went on to earn a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder which aired in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford was the main actor in Lost in its two initial seasons. In 2004, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award with all the cast. Grace, who had worked with Tom Welling on The Fog during 2005, decided to make the move to film. She starred on the screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 as well as Taken (2008) opposite Liam Neeson. She played the same role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace returned to Shannon's character on Lost for two episodes, including the final episode of the series. In 2013, she appears in Californianation, the sixth season. The role she plays is Faith, a groupie who acts as a muse to the stars and catches the attention of Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She belongs to the Gyllenhaal family and is the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her first appearances were in the films of her father when he was an adolescent. Along with her brother, she also appeared on the screen in Donnie Darko (2000). Her next appearance was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal's lead roles in Secretary, a romantic comedy-drama erotico, as well as Sherrybaby (a dramatic) received her nominations for Golden Globe Awards. She appeared in numerous commercially successful movies including World Trade Center. However the role she played as Rachel Dawes that brought her greater attention for her performance in The Dark Knight (2008). The film was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress due to her part on the film Crazy Heart, (2009). In the following years she appeared in comedy and dramas: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012. Other roles she has played include an agent in the action-thriller White House Down (2013), a Secret Service agent in the action thriller White House Down (2013) a musician in the film Frank (2014) and The title role in the film The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal wrote and directed her debut film The Lost Daughter in 2021. The psychological drama won Best Screenplay Award from the Venice International Film Festival. It was also nominated to be awarded the Academy Award of Best Adapted Screenplay.
